        Once upon a time there lived a bad way to start off all children's
 stories.  This bad way was deemed the correct way, because of its elegance
 when first heard.  But after a while this elegance was turned evil by a
 Witch named "Mist".

        Mist was a very attractive witch who turned evil after ABC cancelled
 "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman."  She loved that show with all her heart until
 those menacing ABC executives took her one sense of joy.  Well, not really.
 She did enjoy the ABC fall line-up for that year which included "Dawson's
 Creek" and "Popular."

        Come to think of it, maybe she was always an evil witch... I mean...
 I seem to remember her really empathising with the "Brooke" character from
 "Popular" and also enjoyed using quotes an awful lot.

        It has been proven that only "pure evil" uses excessive quotes.
 Something to do with the genetic mix of "Mastermind complex B" and
 "Flintstones chewable vitamins."  You see, it starts out relatively small,
 with eating the heads off all the "Dinos" but eventually spawns into mass
 destruction.

        Purple is really quite an "evil" colour too.  Also anyone who uses
 the word "colour" instead of "color" is also found to be pure evil, although
 I'm pretty sure that is unrelated to the whole "Mastermind eating Dinos
 complex," and is more related to the "All canadians are evil" thoery which
 was first documented by long time T.V. sitcom star "Jessica Spano."

        You will remember Jessica from the popular 90's high show "Saved by
 the Bell" which in its begining episodes, during the junior high years, were
 based in Indiana.  Some how through the wonders of T.V. most of the cast was
 air lifted to California.  Probably because "California" is a much "hipper"
 place than Indiana, and I'm not even sure you guys got to watch the junior
 high episodes.

        Also of note is that "Zach" had roughly 10 dads over the course of
 the series which goes to prove the unstable relationships that the 90's have
 helped paved.  And we thought it was the lack of communication.

        One rarity in the Saved by the Bell phenom was the fact that the
 first episode of the show for the Highschool years was only played TWICE.
 NBC, which picked up the show debuted the show with a pretty ignorant first
 show, an played in on consecutive weekends one summer.  It was a dream
 sequence with Zach and had absolutely nothing to do with a plot.  It was all
 a crazy dream, which ended with all of the main cast walking through class
 at the bell, in which Zach turned to the camera and said,

        "I guess we're saved by the bell."

        and continued to give the patented "Zach look," and the credits were
 shown.

        Now, they played this episode on twice, and I have never seen it
 since, although I have seen every episode of the show.

        I fell in love with the characters which included "Screech," "Zach,"
 "AC Slater"... whose real name turned out to be "Albert" and was later
 figured in the college years to be changed when his family moved...

        Lots of people walked those halls of Bayside High, which at first was
 located in Indiana.  I was not one of them however, since I didn't attend
 that school.

        And that is how Mist came up with the evil beginning of children's
 stories, which will forever be known as...

        "We were saved by the bell."
